A former employee of South Central Emergency Medical Services is charged with theft after making a total of $121,772.58 unauthorized purchases using a company credit card. Virginia Stapf, 45, of Lewisberry, is accused of taking money from the non-profit ambulance service over a 4-year period.
The fraudulent charges began in 2008 and continued through April 2012, state police said.
She is charged with theft and unlawful use of a computer.
