Vandals leave trail of damaged vehicles in York County

Police are searching for  rock-throwing vandals who left behind a trail of smashed windows, dented doors and damaged mailboxes in York County. Northeastern Regional Police responded to 17 vandalism incidents between Saturday and Sunday.

The vandals targeted cars and property during the overnight hours along North Main Street, Harding Street, York Street Park Street and Canal Road Extended.

Authorities say the rocks ranged in size from a fist to almost the size of a soccer ball.

Seven vehicles had windows and windshields smashed out, three vehicles sustained body damage and seven mail boxes were damaged by the rocks, police said.
