Harrisburg teen given special award

A big honor today for a Harrisburg teen as she’s awarded the prestigious congressional award gold medal for youth leadership.   17 year old Indira Ridgeway, a junior at Harrisburg Sci-Tech high, recieving the award from Dauphin County Commissioners.  The Congressional award is for anyone ages 14 to 23 and focuses on public service, personal development, physical fitness and exploration.  Ridgeway has given back in many ways from tutoring young kids to helping clean up trash around her neighborhood.
