A state representative opened her doors to the voters in her district. State representative Patty Kim, D-Dauphin, held an open house to meet people in 103rd district on Saturday.

The district included the Harrisburg, Steelton, Highspire and the Swatara Township areas.

Kim and her staff were available to discuss issues and services important to the community.

Kim said it was a way for people to get to know her.

“Just seeing their faces and hearing their stories,” says state representative Patty Kim (D), ” and some of the things they are struggling with. It just makes me more passionate and wanting to help and serving the people. It gives me the satisfaction to reach out and help them; this has been a great day. ”

Kim’s office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
