Woman assaulted with stun gun after refusing man’s sexual advances

A Carlisle man used a stun gun on a woman after she refused his sexual advances.  Joshua Armolt, of Carlisle, is facing charges of simple assault and harassment stemming from the Jan. 20 incident in Middlesex Township.

Police say Armolt sent a text to the victim asking her to have sex with him and she refused. A short time later Armolt showed up at her house and shocked  her with a stun gun.  He fled the scene before police arrived.

The victim did not need medical attention but police noted she had visible red marks on her body where she was shocked.

Armolt remains at large.
