Taco Bell is pulling one of its television ads. Fox News reports it comes after receiving complaints that it discouraged people from eating vegetables. The ad showed a 12 pack of tacos. A voice said that bringing a vegetable tray to a party is like punting on 4th and one, saying that people secretly hate guests who bring veggies to parties.
A health advocacy group urged people to tweet their complaints and Taco Bell quickly pulled it. The company says it doesn’t want anyone to misinterpret the ad’s intent.
