A tragic end to an alleged domestic dispute in Lancaster County. Police responded to a call just before midnight last Friday night at home in the 100 block of Oak Road in Manor Township. Upon arrival they discovered the body of 27-year-old Christopher Leonards. Police also recovered a firearm.
A preliminary investigation indicates that Leonard was shot by his half-brother, 22-year-old James Leonards. The shooting took place at the home of James and his mother. Investigators also say that the shooting was the result of an altercation between the brothers and may have been justified.
The Manor Township Police, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office are continuing their investigation.
