Sometimes miracles do happen.  That’s what librarians in New York are thinking after getting a book returned that was checked out in 1958!  The non fiction book is called ‘Fire of Francis Xavier’ and the librarians say it was obviously read many times.  It was mailed to the library with a hundred dollar check to cover late fees, which is did, because   the late fee was only 50 dollars.  The book is being evaluated to see if it’s in good enough condition to put back into circulation.
