Three out of four ain’t bad.   Four local teams survive the PIAA team wrestling first round today at Giant Center in Hershey.   District 3 has been shut out in the “AA” team competition since the tournament started in 1999.   Boiling Springs and Bermudian Springs are hoping to change that history.   The Bubblers advance to the quarterfinals with a 31-25 victory over Saegertown.   Bermudian Springs edges Burrell 34-29 to make it to the final eight in “AA.”   The quarterfinals will take place at Noon on Friday.

Central Dauphin has won every “AAA” championship since 2008, except last year.    They start their march back to the top of the class with a convincing 33-14 disposal of North Allegheny.  CD will match up with Parkland Friday at 2pm.   Spring Grove lost their first round match with the defending state champs from Canon McMillan 42-22.
