Here’s how you can help the victims of Hurricane Michael

Snow amounts by Saturday morning

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

Tomorrow morning there could be some snow and sleet to start the morning.  Some areas further south may even see rain as temperatures will be too warm for frozen precipitation. It will be scattered so not a complete washout of a commute.

There will be several hour period where rain or a wintry mix will be hit or miss through the early afternoon.  But heading further into the late afternoon and early evening, a change to all snow is expected.  There could be a several hour period of light to moderate snow especially areas north and east of the turnpike where several inches of snow may fall.

Further south, a dusting to maybe up to an inch is possible do to the rain mixing in and cutting back our chances for accumulation.

Things can change and as we get new model data, WPMT’s Meteorologists Jeff Jumper, Andrea Michaels along with myself, will be here to keep you posted with the latest numbers.

Be sure to send in your conditions, ice or snow accumulations and pictures you may want us to use on air.
