A broken water main caused a sinkhole to form along Walnut Street in Boiling Springs on Tuesday morning. The sinkhole nearly swallowed-up a pickup truck parked along the street. The 10-inch water main broke around 3 a.m, causing several gallons of water to be released.
The South Middleton Township Municipal Authority tells FOX43 News they have the incident isolated and are actively working to fix the problem.
Residents living in a two-block radius are without water and parts of Boiling Springs is under a boil water advisory.
A portion of Walnut Street is closed at this time.
