U.S. making moves for summer games

olympicsThe U.S. Olympic Committee is looking for a city to possibly host the Olympics.

The committee sent 35 letters to mayors all across the country including some in the viewing area.

Among the list of big cities Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Baltimore received letters from the USCO.

If plans should work out, this would be the first time th United States have hosted the summer games since 1996.

It is not a guarantee that the games will be in America but its an initial step to approach the International Olympics Committee with a compelling bid.
