The National Weather Service located in State College, PA has extended its Winter Weather Advisory to include all counties in the lower part of Central Pennsylvania.  The advisory runs through 7 A.M. Saturday.  This afternoon, spotty areas of snow and sleet are likely, with a changeover to areas of freezing rain and freezing drizzle this evening, lasting through the overnight.  Precipitation amounts will be under 0.1″, but some slick and icy spots are likely across area roads and sidewalks.  The Winter Weather Advisory issued for Mifflin County Thursday afternoon still remains in effect.
