A low pressure system is dragging a mix of rain, sleet and snow across the area. Temperatures have fallen back to the upper 30s after hitting highs in the low 40s before precipitation arrived.

Hour by Hour Forecast

DREARY EVENING

Winds will pick up this evening out of the east and we will continue with occasional showers and drizzle.

Not the greatest night to be out but if you have to venture out, take it easy on the roads.  Temperatures will hold steady this evening and overnight in the upper 30s.
MILD WEDNESDAY
Morning showers and drizzle will give way to a mild day but with a secondary low developing near the coast, the threat for a spotty shower remains throughout the day.  Highs will flirt with 50 degrees in some areas while most will top out in the upper 40s.  Total rainfall will end up anywhere from a half inch to maybe  three quarters of an inch.

Weather Headlines

UNSETTLED INTO THURSDAY

Upper level low will hover just to our north keeping the threat for spotty rain or snow showers around for Thursday.  Highs in the low 40s.

WEEKEND CHILL
The jet will dip well to the south allowing colder air to plunge as far south as Florida. Going into the weekend, temperatures will drop back to the 20s overnight with highs only in the 30s during the day despite more sunshine!  The colder air carries into early next week.
