Do you have a perfect pitch?  The Lancaster Barnstormers need you.

For the second consecutive year, some of Central Pennsylvania’s top singers and musicians will test their skills at Center Court in Park City Center as the Lancaster Barnstormers host their annual National Anthem auditions on Saturday, March 23.

The auditions will be held between the hours of 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Once again, a panel of judges, Lancaster’s version of Nicki, Keith and Mariah, from the Barnstormers front office will be on hand to gauge which artists might have the opportunity to sing the Star Spangled Banner, prior to the start of a Barnstormers home game during 2013.  Vice President of Fan Experience Anthony DeMarco will channel his inner Seacrest as the emcee of the event.

Last year’s auditions drew roughly 75 acts, and several hundred spectators, to Center Court.

“This is always an exciting event,” said Barnstormers general manager Kristen Simon.  “We get to hear so many great acts, vocal and instrumental, solos, duets and groups, that it makes choosing difficult.  Plus, these auditions let everyone know that baseball is just around the corner.”

“We are excited to host the National Anthem auditions again this year,” said Jillian Fikkert, marketing manager of Park City Center. “This is a great opportunity to celebrate the start of spring and bring a bit of the ballpark and the community to Park City!”

Fans may pre-register at www.lancasterbarnstormers.com. Walkups will be accommodated as time allows.
