UNSETTLED:  The rain maker is pushing out this morning, leaving us with some drizzle and spotty showers for the early morning hours.  Temps begin in the middle and upper 30s with areas of reduced visibility to start.  We’re left with a slow moving upper level low pressure system.  This will move over top of the area through Thursday, exiting by Friday.  So expect clouds and spotty wet weather for the next two days.

Today, we’ll be limited on the sunshine as cloudy skies prevail.  Morning rain ends with a brief period of manly dry weather through the midday and afternoon hours.  Highs today should top out in the upper 40s and low 50s today.  Any sunshine that peeks through will help in the temperature department, big time.  Some rain showers are possible by evening which may linger or turn to snow showers overnight as temps fall to near freezing.

Thursday, the upper low is moving over us, keeping the clouds and spotty rain/snow shower activity in the forecast for the entire day.  Highs will top out in the low and middle 40s.  The showery activity will taper into the overnight hours.  We keep the clouds but drop the precip for Friday as slightly cooler air spills in with temps in the low 40s.

WEEKEND:  A trough of colder air will slip in for the weekend.  Skies remain mostly cloudy to partly sunny.  We’ll see temps near 40° on Saturday.  Sunday, we’re in the middle to upper 30s.  The weather looks to remain dry but breezy.

NEXT WEEK:  Canadian high pressure builds in briefly for Monday.  We’ll see more sunshine with highs only in the mid 30s.  A storm system will dive south from Canada.  Right now, the models have it to our south late Tuesday into Wednesday.  We’re keeping the precip out for now, but the forecast is subject to change.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
