An alarming report by an environmental group out of New York. The group, Citizens Campaign for the Environment, says it found that of the 59 medical and health facilities it reviewed on Long Island, more than half flush their unused drugs down the toilet, ending up in the water supply. So the Farmingdale Environmental Group is pushing for new state legislation and guidelines to ban the practice.
