Police investigating the robbery of a York Radio Shack in February have discovered thefts in other states where bandits used the same method. On February 12th, two black males, a black female, and a white female entered the Radio Shack located at 351 Loucks Road in York. While two of the suspects distracted the clerk, one of the black males entered the back stock room and stole 69 Phones consisting of Galaxy Models and Iphones.  The clerks did not realize a theft had occurred until approximately 10 minutes after the suspects left the store.  The two clerks believed the suspects had been in a large white passenger van.

Investigators found two other cases out of Virginia and Maryland the same Modus operandi was utilized.  The photographs provided in this bulletin are of the black male and white female that are involved in all three thefts totaling over $100,000.00 in cell phones, mainly Apple Iphone models.

Before the York robbery, the same suspects were at the Radio Shack in the Cape Horn Commons Plaza outside of Red Lion.  No theft occurred at the store but the manager on duty found the four to be suspicious.

The investigation into this crime continues.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717-292-3647 or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
