Man shot to death in Harrisburg

A man who was fatally shot in Harrisburg on Saturday evening has been identified by police as 20-year-old Robert Burris. Officers responded to the 200 block of South 14th Street around 6:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting victim. When authorities arrived at the scene they found Burris on the ground with a gunshot to the head. He was rushed to Harrisburg Hospital where he later died, police said.

According to reports, one person has turned themselves in to police in connection with this crime. Another person remains at large.

Burris’s death marks the fifth homicide in Harrisburg this year and was the second this week.
