Much needed rain fell this morning helping to cut our rain deficit for the month and the year.  Some areas picked up over an inch specifically across Lebanon, Lancaster and Berks county.

Turning colder and continued breezy

TURNING COLDER
We dried out as expected this afternoon and the clouds broke up this evening allowing for a little sunshine before sunset. Temperatures have fallen into the 40s with breezy winds still gusting over 20mph at times. Winds should lighten up and temperatures will be much colder by morning with lows expected in the low 30s.

Upper level low swings in tomorrow thickening up the clouds by afternoon and producing a few isolated showers. So any sunshine we get in the morning will be brief.  Temperatures will be noticeably cooler in the mid 40s.  Winds will pick back up again becoming gusty at times.

Turning colder and continued breezy

High pressure builds in Thursday bringing more sunshine to the area but it will be the coldest day of the week with highs around 40 degrees.  The winds will make it feel even colder.

CALMER FRIDAY BUT UNSETTLED WEEKEND
Calmer Friday with increasing clouds.  Temperatures a bit warmer in the mid to upper 40s.  The upper level flow flattens and allows milder air to flow back in. But it will also cause several disturbances to head through the area.  Timing of the precipitation over the weekend and early next week are still up in the air.  But right now it looks like scattered showers for Saturday and maybe early Sunday with the rest of the weekend looking dry.  Showers returning Monday before exiting by Tuesday.

Enjoy your hump day!
