Harrisburg and Trinity Boys, Lancaster Catholic and Steel-High Girls advance in states

Nine local high school basketball teams take to the hardwood on Wednesday Night, four advance to the PIAA quarterfinals.    Harrisburg’s boys outrun Upper Darby 79-62 in “AAAA.”    Trinity whips William Sayre in “AA” boys action 74-47.    On the girls side, Lancaster Catholic moves on in “AAA” 54-46 over Archbishop Wood.   Two-time defending “A” state champion Steel-High cruises into the quarterfinals with a 74-39 dismantling of Jenkintown.    Here are complete results from Wednesday’s action:
