Inmate signs out to go to library; Doesn’t return

Shaquann IMAN

An inmate at the Wernersville Community Correctional Facility signed out of the facility to visit the Reading Library and never returned. Shaquann Iman was supposed to return by 7pm Wednesday. Iman is in prison serving a sentence for aggravated assault. Iman’s whereabouts are currently unknown.  A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police, Reading Barracks, at 610-378-4011 or to remain anonymous call Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913.

    How do you sign out of prison to go to the library? Could you also sign yourself out to go to the local bar? I've never heard of this before!

    To get the story straight he was not n prison he was in a halfway house that is how he was able to sign out.

    i really think that if people dont know the story of how he really sign him self out and why he did dont make jugdement if you dont know the person he could of just got tired of being there and bounce he left to stretch his legs for a minute. everyone making it seems like hes a very dangerous person and hes not every where you turned they got his picture up all over the damn news yea do that but stop making him out to be a bad person
