Blood Drive Benefits American Red Cross

American Red Cross of the Cumberland Valley urges blood donors to take time and donate today!

Carlisle, PA, March 19, 2013:  The American Red Cross is issuing a plea to donors everywhere to take the time and donate at your local blood drive. Approximately 38% of the population is believed to be eligible to donate blood, of which less than 10% donate blood annually, or about 3% of the general population. To donate individuals must be 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds or more and feel in good health. To donate blood you can visit one of the following blood drives:

Monday April 1, Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints 50 Ragged Edge Road Chambersburg 12PM – 6PM

Monday April 1, Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Church 2509 Black Gap Road Chambersburg  1PM – 7PM

Tueday April 9, Orrstown Bank 2695 Philadelphia Avenue Chambersburg  10AM – 4PM

Wednesday, April 10, Penn State-Mont Alto 1 Campus Drive Mont Alto 10AM-4PM
