Fire broke out at a fast food restaurant in Cumberland County on Sunday morning. Firefighters were called to the KFC/Long John Silver’s along the 6500 block of Carlisle Pike around 8:15 a.m. where they were met with heavy smoke coming from the rear of the building.
The fire quickly spread to the roof near a heating unit. Fire officials say the eatery sustained moderate damage to the kitchen and heating and cooling system.
No injuries were reported.
A state police fire marshal is investigating.
