A Middletown woman is facing robbery, theft, assault and drug related charges following her arrest Wednesday, March 20, by Middletown Borough Police.

Amber D. Colvin, 32, of Middletown, was arrested following an incident at the Dollar Tree store in the 400 block of East Main Street. Police said Colvin

allegedly stole a wallet from the purse of a 66-year-old female store customer. When the customer tried to regain possession of her wallet, police say Colvin

assaulted the woman.

A search of Colvin incidental to her arrest allegedly revealed suspected drug paraphernalia and prescription drugs in her possession.

Following consultation with Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico’s office, Colvin was arraigned in front of District Judge David Judy on charges of Robbery, Simple Assault, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Possession With Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Colvin was committed to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
