Pizza Hut Robbed; Employees Pepper-Sprayed, Locked In Freezer

Employees of a Pizza Hut restaurant were sprayed with pepper spray and then locked in a freezer by two armed robbers. It happened Friday night in Susquehanna Township, at the Pizza Hut on the 4400 block of North Front Street. Two males, wearing dark colored hoodies and brandishing handguns, entered the restaurant just before closing time and ordered the employees into a walk-in freezer. The bandits then sprayed the employees, locked them in and took money from the cash register. They fled in a dark colored car with a loud muffler.

Police ask anyone who may have information about this robbery to contact Det Osman @ 909-9232 or aosman@susquehannatwp.com.  Anonymous tips may be left at 909-TIPS.  There is possible reward moneys available for information leading to the arrest of persons involved.

    Susquehanna Twp or Lower Paxton Twp. Which one of these non-city municipalities do we keep hearing about the most crime in the last few years? Anyone keeping tabs on the most crime-ridden municipalities in the Susquehanna Valley?
