WINTER WON’T GO AWAY

Well how about some spring snow?  We ended up with anywhere from 2 inches to 6 inches of snow. Still seeing lingering snow showers across which may mix with a little rain.  WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been cancelled for this evening. While the snow will taper this evening, temperatures will remain well below normal the next few days.  The winds will be blustery keeping the feel of winter around for a bit.  Lows tonight will drop to around 30 so there could be some slick spots early morning as wet areas freeze.

COOL PATTERN

Upper level low will hang around through Thursday.  This means cooler than average temperatures.  Clouds will rule Tuesday and there could be some isolated rain or snow showers in the afternoon.  Highs expected well below normal in the low 40s. Winds will be breezy at times. Wednesday we’ll see a mix of clouds and sunshine, highs in the mid 40s and winds even gustier up to 25 to 30mph.  Thursday we should tap into more sunshine than clouds, temperatures respond by getting into the upper 40s and the winds will be much lighter as we go through the day.

EASTER WEEKEND

Friday the pattern flattens allowing for milder air and more sunshine.  Highs should flirt with 50 degrees especially going into Saturday and Sunday.  Outdoor Easter egg hunts either morning will be chilly in the low 30s but should be dry.  Afternoon activity outside will be nice with sunshine and highs in the low 50s to start the weekend, mid to upper 50s by the second half.

Easter Forecast

NEXT COLD FRONT

The next system will bring showers as a cold front comes in early Monday.  Temperatures will be mild and above freezing so with the front will come rain showers not snow. Any rain should hold off until Sunday night but they are likely to linger into the Monday morning commute before the front moves out. Highs Monday will be in the low 50s, so a bit below normal as we start the month of April.
