Would-be Burglar Caught In Act By Homeowner

Susquehanna Township Police received a report of an attempted burglary to a residence Sunday afternoon. It happened in the 200 block of Silver Leaf Ridge.  A resident returned home at around 1:30pm and noticed pry marks on the front door of the residence. The door was still secured.  The resident saw someone on the rear deck of the home, who jumped off of the deck and ran away on foot.  Police did check the area with negative results.  Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed this activity to contact Det Cairns @ 909-9242 or dcairns@susquehannatwp.com.
