It’s part of a project to relocate people from displacement camps that came about after the 2010 earthquake.

Old cinder block homes have been painted in vibrant colors, and the government is trying to spruce up poor neighborhoods by introducing city services.

The goal is to have 1,000 homes and buildings painted over the course of six months.
