A man is facing charges after leading police on a wild chase in Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County early Saturday morning.   It all started around 2:40 a.m. when officers spotted an SUV driving across the southbound lane of the Carlisle Pike, over the grass median and into the northbound lanes. Brandon Scott, 20, of Lemoyne was in the driver’s seat and fled from officers when they tried to pull him over, according to police reports.

The chase ended a few blocks away when the SUV crashed and overturned in a driveway along the 1200 block of Bent Creek Boulevard. Police say Brandon was partially ejected from the vehicle and was taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment. He has since been released.

While emergency crews were trying to free Brandon, his brother,  Neil Scott, 25, of Lemoyne, arrived on the scene became combative with EMS and police. Neil was taken into custody at the scene.

Brandon Scott is facing numerous charges including DUI, fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, underage drinking and various traffic offenses.

Neil Scott is charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and public drunkenness.
