Paxtang bank robbery suspect turns himself in

Paxtang Borough police say a man turned himself in after robbing a bank at gunpoint on Friday.   Tashan Lantiqua Layton, 22, surrendered to police on Sunday night.

Layton is accused of robbing the Sovereign Bank along the 500 block of South 29th Street.


He was taken to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 10.

    Wonder if his conscience was bothering him…. If would be nice if morality would sink in a bit quicker, like before he put the gun to the teller and made her day a living hell.
