The Bears start their final run at a postseason berth.  Hershey has just 9 games left on the season and they currently hold the final playoff spot in the eastern conference.

Mark French, Bears Head Coach

“Everybody would like to think that you have to instill urgency and I almost think its the opposite way, its important for you to keep relying on your process.  We need to play our game.”

Joey Crabb, Bears Forward

“I’ve been on teams before that have been in playoff battles and you have seen in years past, lower seeds can win it all.”

The Bears are getting reinforcements.  Dmitry Orlov and Tomas Kundratek are coming down from the parent club, the Capitals.  And they recently signed tough guy, Joel Rechlitz, who used played in chocolate town.

Joel Rechlitz, Bears Forward

“I know my role and in other areas I have to keep it simple.  The physical aspect is a big part of my game.  Anything that I can do to help the team win hockey games is number one.  I’m just glad to be back.”

Joey Crabb, Bears Forward

“This is one of the organizations, even though its my 1st week here, I always heard about Hershey and its one of those organizations that is committed to winning and helping the team and there is a few others in the league but this one of the tops.”

The Bears start their April run, Friday at Syracuse.  They’re back home Saturday night, also against the Crunch.
