Selinsgrove Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Saturday morning. Just before 12:20 a.m., two armed men entered a home on the 100 block of South Market Street in Selinsgrove where about 12 people were gathered.

One suspect was armed with a handgun and the other with a pump shotgun. The two ordered the victims to get on the floor and hand over their cell phones and wallets. The suspects found three females in the bathroom of the apartment and while physically robbing them, struck one in the head with the end of the shotgun. She was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, treated and released for her injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Police describe the two men as black males, 18 to 28 years old. The first suspect is around 6’1″ with a medium to muscular build. The second is around 5’11” with a medium to slender build. At the time of the robbery, both were wearing ski masks and dark colored shirts or sweatshirts.

The suspects fled the scene and were last seen running east on East Bough Street. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Selinsgrove Police Department at 570-374-8655.
