GRADUAL WARMING CONTINUES

A weak disturbance down to the south is bringing in high clouds, and as the system heads north, expect the clouds to thicken through the overnight period.  Lows won’t be as chilly overnight as they were this morning.  Readings only dip into the middle 40s with the cloud cover overtop the Susquehanna Valley.  The disturbance weakens as it heads north, so it loses much of its moisture, but a few isolated showers cannot be ruled out throughout the daytime hours Monday.  Otherwise, expect limited sunshine with highs in the lower to middle 60s.

APRIL SHOWERS CHANCE CONTINUES

As this weak disturbance moves out to sea, a slow moving front approaches for the middle of the week.  With the boundary expected to reach the area, a few showers and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday and Wednesday, but that should not prevent temperatures from reaching 70 degrees.  Thursday, the front lifts far enough north to warm us into the middle 70s.  Its attached cold front arrives Friday, bringing a better chance for more widespread showers and thunderstorms.

ANOTHER SEASONABLE WEEKEND

In the wake of the front, a seasonable air mass returns next weekend.  Highs Saturday are near 60 degrees under partly cloudy skies.  More sunshine Sunday bumps temperatures a few more degrees.

Have a great week!
