At around 7:10 a.m. a Met-Ed transmission problem in Hunterstown, Adams County, interrupted power to our delivery points in Southern and Western Adams County. About 8,000 Adams members were put out of power at the height of the event. Crews are working to backfeed power from other points and assist Met-Ed in repairs. None of the links to this article explain the outage. It ruined my plans for the day, and, not to be too petty about it, if i had an explanation for why my day was ruined, i might understand and not be so upset about it–still.
