Two arrested in connection with Perry County vehicle arson

Two people have been arrested in connection with an April 5 vehicle fire in Perry County. The incident took place along Church Street in New Bloomfield.

Derek Earl Carver, 32, of Loysville and a 16-year-old male juvenile, also of Loysville, are charged with arson, causing or risking a catastrophe, criminal conspiracy and criminal mischief.

Carver was arraigned and taken to Perry County Prison in lieu of $25,000.

Charges against the 16-year-old have been filed through the Juvenile Courts.
