A Philadelphia man remains jailed after police say he pulled a knife on his girlfriend in Lancaster City during a domestic dispute on Saturday. Eric Rivera, 21, is charged with three counts of simple assault, one count of unlawful restraint and two counts of terroristic threats.

According to police, Rivera threatened to kill the 23-year-old victim at her apartment during an argument. The victim told Rivera to get out–instead he grabbed a knife, held her at knifepoint and demanded to be taken to Long’s Park .

While at the park, Rivera continued to threaten the victim at knifepoint and then forced her to take him back to the apartment.

Afraid for her life–the victim waited until Rivera fell asleep before fleeing the apartment and contacting police.

Rivera was taken into custody and placed in Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,00 bail.
