A former convict who spent eight years in jail is telling the story of ex-cons who turned their lives around.  In 1995, El Sawyer was living in Lancaster selling drugs and shot a man who stole packets of crack cocaine from him.  He is out of prison but still on parole.  Sawyer now is a filmmaker and youth mentor.  He will be at Millersville University Thursday screening his moving “Pull of Gravity.”  The movie will be shown at the Ware Center at 11 am.  A second showing will be in the Clair Performance Center at 7 pm.
