DRY STREAK ENDS:  We’re about to see another cooling front work through the state, but before it arrives we get to enjoy a mild day!  Expect sunshine to give way to increasing clouds during the day.  We’ll pick up the breeze too out of the southeast to south today.  Temps should make it to the low 70s today.  We’re mainly dry through a good chunk of the day.

Then a line of showers and a few thunderstorms will push east during the evening.  Some of the storms could be stronger, with gusty winds.  This all depends on how much sun we get today.  More means warmer and the potential for more energy for the storms to feed off of, so we’ll monitor closely.  Once the showers push through, winds shift to the west, ushering a cool down in for all of us.  We dip to the low 40s tonight with clearing and breezy conditions.

SLOW RETURN TO WARMTH:  We’re cool and dry Thursday with plenty of sun during the afternoon.  Highs will top out near 60°.  We warm a bit into Friday with more sunshine and highs in the low to mid 60s.  The trend continues with sun and clouds Saturday and highs back to the upper 60s, near seasonal averages.  By Sunday, we’re near 70° with added clouds.

NEXT WEEK:  We are mainly cloudy with the chance for an isolated shower Monday and a handful of showers Tuesday and Wednesday.  We hold steady in the upper 60s to near 70°.  It looks as if a front will arrive mid-week to bring us a good shot at rain and another slight cool down.  We’ll monitor it all.

Happy Wednesday!
