Dogs of all shapes and sizes taking part in the ‘Bark for Life of Hummelstown and Hershey’ event benefiting the American Cancer Society at Indian Echo Caverns in Derry Township, Dauphin County Saturday.
The event is similar to Relay for Life, the 24-hour fundraiser for the ACS but this one is for the canines and runs only four hours.
The event featured all kinds of activities for our four-legged friends — including a costume contest, as well as musical chairs or musical sits for the dogs. All the fun was for a good cause, to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
This is the third year for the event which originated in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
