American cargo jet crashes killing 7 in Afghanistan

A chartered 747 cargo jet crashes and burns shortly after takeoff from Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.  Seven people that were aboard the aircraft are presumed dead. The plane reportedly stalled at about 1200 feet into its climb.. Witnesses say the plane pitched nose up and then rolled right into a steep nose dive.  Thick black smoke billowed upward from the crash scene.  No official word on the cause of the crash.
