frenchfrycabThe next time you’re munching on some fries from the Boise, Idaho Fry Company, you might be glad to know your meal is helping to power a new line of cabs.

The company, Recab, is using older Mercedes Benz models and converting them to run on bio diesel fuel, with the help of the oil used to cook French fries!

The Boise Fry Company uses about 300 gallons of oil a month and donates it to Recab in exchange for advertising on the car.

In just one year, the cab can put out 30,000 less tons of CO2 than a normal cab running the same amount of time.

The cars are expected to hit the streets next month.
