Overnight, light rain showers possible along with areas of fog, lows will be mild in the low 50s.
ANOTHER GRAY DAY
Winds remain easterly keeping moisture in place across the area. Skies will be overcast, areas of fog and drizzle likely especially early then a chance of rain for the afternoon. Highs once again kept in the upper 50s to around 60°. Rain amounts less than .15″ for most with totals a bit higher further east.
SLOWLY IMPROVING
Clouds will be slow to decrease as the winds start to shift and drier air moves into the mid levels. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies Wednesday with just a slight chance for a shower. With a little bit of sunshine, temperatures should get back into the 60s.
WEEK ENDS WITH SUNSHINE
More sunshine expected for the end of the week. Flow will still be out of the southeast as high pressure makes home to our north but with more sunshine we should still see temperatures topping out in the upper 60s to near 70°.
ANOTHER DRY WEEKEND
Blocking pattern still looks intact over the weekend with the upper low to our west. This will keep the parade of lows to our west and moving towards the Great Lakes. We still look to be control by high pressure to our north with southeasterly winds that may shift more to the south as the pattern somewhat shifts east, too far out to tell exactly if that happens. With more sunshine and a shift of the winds, we could see temperatures hitting 70° or better Saturday. Models want to bring in next system Sunday into Monday but all will depend on when the pattern breaks. I have increasing clouds on Sunday with highs in the upper 60s to around 70° and the rain holding off until Monday for the moment.
