A teen birthday party at a social club in Steelton got out of hand over the weekend when shots were fired. It happened Saturday around 10:30 p.m. at the I.W. Able building along the 200 block of Gibson Street.
Authorities say an adult chaperone noticed a uninvited juvenile male with a gun inside the building and asked him to leave. The male went outside and fired 3-5 rounds into the air, police said.
He then got into a white Nissan Maxima, with two teenage females inside, and fled the scene.
No one was injured during the shooting.
The suspect is described as a young, thin, dark skinned black male in his teens.
