Pennsylvania lawmakers are urging the Senate to pass legislation that would help unemployed veterans find work. The Vets First Tax Credit program would provide a 4,000 tax credit for each veteran an employer hires. The worker must stay on payroll for at least six months. The tax credit would continue for up to four years as long as the veteran continues to work.
