Governor Tom Corbett’s comments about unemployment in Pennsylvania have gone viral.  In a radio interview, he says “There are many employers that say ‘we’re looking for people, but we can’t find anybody that has passed a drug test’… And that’s a concern for me because we’re having a serious problem with that.”

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews pounced on the comments during his program “Hardball.”  “That’s the governor of Pennsylvanian saying that the unemployment rate in Pennsylvania is high, because Pennsylvanians are high,” Matthews said. “What an amazing statement by a public official.”
