A Perry County couple is in trouble with the law again after state police say they committed an armed robbery at the M&K Extra Fuel Stop in Dauphin Borough. The incident happened on Saturday evening along the 700 block of Allegheny Street.

Christina Nipple, 28, and her boyfriend,  Theodor Laverty III, 22, both of Duncannon, are charged with armed robbery and other offenses.

Authorities say Laverty entered the store, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk. He got away with about $270 in cash before fleeing the scene in a red Dodge Caravan. Police say Nipple was driving the getaway car.

Later that night, officers with Susquehanna Township police spotted the vehicle parked at a Uni-mart along Front Street.

The pair was taken into custody.

If the couples’ names sound familiar–they should. The Bonnie and Clyde duo was charged with staging a robbery on Nov. 5  at the Adult World Bookstore in Perry County.

Police said Nipple, who worked at the adult bookstore in Buffalo Township, reported the incident and was involved in the robbery.

Authorities say Laverty, Nipple’s boyfriend, was the man who entered the store and demanded money. He was caught on the store’s surveillance cameras.
