Man killed in Manor Township motorcycle crash

A motorcycle rider was killed this afternoon in Manor Township, after colliding with a pick-up truck at the intersection of Water Street and Charlestown Road. It happened around 2:30 p.m., when the two vehicles collided after the pick-up truck pulled out of Charlestown Road.

The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck was not injured in the accident. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. Both men are Lancaster County residents but their names are not being released at this time.

Witnesses told police the motorcycle passed a vehicle just before the crash and they would like to speak to the operator of that car. Anyone with further information is asked to contact Manor Township Police at 717-299-5231.
