A Mother’s Day tradition took place in York today. The 38th annual Olde York Street Fair was held over a several block span of the city.

More than 100 arts and craft vendors set up and sold the perfect gifts for mom. There was also a kids play area and food to please every fair-goers.

“All of our vendors donate a portion of their proceeds to area non-profits, so as you’re enjoying your crab cake or lemonade or funnel cake, you’re actually helping an area non-profit,” explained fair organizer, Mary Yeaple.

The fair also featured a variety of entertainment, with several new acts this year.

The Olde York Street Fair is held every Mother’s Day during the afternoon and plans for next year’s event are already well underway.
