The U.S. Marshals Service lost track of two known or suspected terrorists that were once in the federal witness protection program. The marshals service one of the two individuals is out of the country. They believe the second is also overseas. An audit by the Inspector General’s Office of the program found the service did not definitively know how many suspected terrorists were given witness protection.
